Hi Marci, a couple of quick things I recommend. 1) Get familiar with funding sources that the district has that could pay for your product. These include various Title funds as well as potentially state and local $. I’d start with your home state. 2) Set up a couple of research meetings (don’t frame it as a sales meeting or focus on selling, just on research) with district administrators to learn more about what they might value in the work you’re doing. Offer to take them to coffee or a meal. Ask for their honest input and you’re likely to learn a lot. Hope that helps.
